The safety and welfare of our customers, tenants and employees has been our highest priority throughout the pandemic. We want to assure you that we continue to take proactive steps, based on national guidance, to provide a safe and clean environment at Waipio Shopping Center. As mandated by Governor Ige and Mayor Caldwell, starting Thursday, August 27th, Oahu essential businesses will be allowed to remain open. Under this new mandate nonessential businesses will be required to close through September 23. Restaurants will be allowed remain open for take-out and delivery only.
Throughout this period, Waipio Shopping Center has remained open and essential businesses have continued to serve the community. During this reset period, our centers will remain open providing essential goods and services and look forward to welcoming you back for other uses when permitted. We encourage you to practice these CDC safety measures when you visit Waipio Shopping Center. All of us can do our part to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and all respiratory illnesses with these actions:
- Wash or sanitize your hands before entering the center. If washing, follow the 20-second rule.
- Practice physical distancing of at least 6 feet from other guests.
- Wear a face covering or mask.
- Do not gather in groups.
- Adhere to individual tenant’s policies, including line queuing and number of guests in the store.
- Adhere to all government regulations, mandates and guidelines.
- Stay home if you are sick.
